Viewing and Discussing the Film “a hope of NAGASAKI

The Japanese/American Peace Alliance (JAPA) is a group of people who long for world peace and take actions as ordinary individuals. JAPA started monthly peace meetings a year and a half ago. As the only country to have experienced American atomic bombings and having eventually created harmony with the United States, Japan has something to say to the world today. We have something of vital importance to pass on to the next generations in this world.

Please join us in viewing this documentary film titled “a hope of NAGASAKI” (2021) with English subtitles, in which Nagasaki survivors share their thoughts and feelings toward peace, together with people from other countries. This is a ZOOM event. After we view the film, we will hold a discussion with everyone invited to participate. The director of the film will also join us.
