The Risk Management Office for Nonprofit Organizations marked its 20th anniversary in December last year. I have received some congratulatory messages. Today, I like to share the message from Melanie Herman, Executive Director of the Nonprofit Risk Management Center<\/a> in the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Congratulations to our former colleague and intern, Mika Nakahara @nporisk, for 20 years of service promoting risk management in the NP sector in Japan!<\/span><\/p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/nonprofitrisk\/status\/1342136522015911936<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n In 2000, I was placed at the Nonprofit Risk Management Center in Washington, DC through a fellowship program by a Japanese foundation. After returning to Japan, I started the Risk Management for Nonprofit Organizations to promote the importance and necessity of comprehensive risk management for nonprofit organizations. Melanie was my boss and mentor. What I learned from her and the Center made the foundation for what I have done for the last 20 years in the nonprofit sector in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Melanie, thank you for the message!
